Aurum Electronics Corp. was founded in Tainan, Taiwan in 1980. Aurum, meaning gold, symbolizes our company as a leading manufacturer and supplier of home security lighting products. At Aurum, you can find a large selection of high quality products made from aluminum, stainless steel, solid brass, plastic, poly-stone, etc.
We credit much of our success to the pioneering efforts of our R&D department in designing innovative products. Our product line includes not only professional home security lighting products but also other indoor and outdoor lighting products such as LED desk lamp, low voltage garden light, solar garden light, and so on. We could design products according to our customers' requests. Our company was the first to receive a patent for P.I.R. lighting products in Taiwan. In addition, we're also the first among P.I.R. lighting product suppliers in Asia to enter the European market and our products have since gained much popularity there. Later on, our business widened to include Australia, Japan, and we also entered the Northern American market in the year of 2001. It's our aim to achieve worldwide market coverage of business.
In 1992, we expanded our manufacturing operations to Shenzhen, China with a production force totaling 600. Since 90% of our products are manufactured in-house and strict QC tests are applied, our products have a very low defective rate. Owing to the steady growth of our sales achievement, our new factory in Shenzhen has been expanded in early 2002. In the new millennium, we'll continue to supply best quality products at reasonable prices and do our best to meet the needs of our customers.
